Hi, I’m Dee.
The dreamer, maker, mama, and the hands behind Melo Thread.

Melo Thread was born during a season when I needed to find my way back to myself.

Growing up, one of my favorite places was my grandmother's sewing room. She taught me how to sew and how to cross stitch. I would sneak in to make Barbie clothes, proudly convinced I knew exactly what I was doing... even if it meant breaking a few of her sewing needles along the way. (Sorry, Dinha.)

Years later, when life became overwhelming, I found myself sitting behind a sewing machine again. What started as a creative escape slowly became something much deeper. With every stitch, I found a little more peace, a little more joy and a little more of myself.

Sewing became my therapy.
My creative outlet.
My way of slowing down.

Before long, those handmade pieces became gifts for family and friends, then orders, and eventually... Melo Thread.
Melo Thread isn't about what I make. It's about the moments my handmade pieces get to be part of in your story.

Without realizing it, my grandmother wasn't just teaching me how to sew.
She was teaching me how to create something with love.
